We are Mike and Teresa.

We have been married for 28 years and live in Puyallup, Washington. We first met at Ft. Bragg, NC, where Mike was stationed, and Teresa was visiting from her home county of Bolivia, South America, for her sister’s wedding. Our love for gifting to friends and family started when Mike realized some of his soldiers did not have simple furniture in their barracks or homes. Mike started with some hand tools, restoring thrown-out or broken furniture and gifting them to the soldiers and military families that needed them most.

       Two of the biggest traditions in the US Army are giving a gift to recognize the service of a soldier and spouse as they change duty stations and sharing bread and a cup of coffee. We both fell in love with the idea and have promised we would always try to recognize soldiers and spouses we have served with and have had the pleasure of getting to know by giving a personal gift and the precious gift of time, shared with some bread, a cup of coffee, good conversation, and as much laughter as posabole.
